Term – 2021-2023

I visited Twin Lakes a few years ago to do some hiking with my husband, Ed, and thought I’d found a little piece of heaven. To actually own a cabin here (along with my son Scott and daughter-in-law Lily) is really amazing.

Ed and I live in Reno and recently celebrated our 40th anniversary. We have two beautiful children, Scott, who lives in Seattle, and Kelly, who lives in Durham, N.C. I am a former elementary school teacher and now work part time as an adult education teacher and also tutor students who are second-language learners. I’m an avid day hiker and never get tired of all the beautiful trails in the Sierras. I’m also a knitter and especially enjoy knitting for my granddaughter, Zuzu, and now for my grandson who will arrive in August. As my son said when he saw his niece all decked out with a blanket, hat and sweater, “That baby got some knitwear!” I also love reading and have already made use of the little free library.

I’m looking forward to meeting more neighbors and contributing to this wonderful community.
